The decision, set to take effect on February 8, 2025, coinciding with the organization’s 115th anniversary, underscores Scouting America’s unwavering dedication to inclusivity and diversity.
This pivotal move arrives amidst the celebration of the fifth anniversary of welcoming girls into Cub Scouting and Scouts BSA programs. With a current enrollment of over 176,000 girls and young women, including an impressive 6,000 Eagle Scouts, Scouting America reaffirms its commitment to empowering youth from all backgrounds.
